Information about Chromatic Oasis

These joyful pictures of a waterpark on Egypt's Red Sea coast are rooted in a rich tapestry of architectural and cultural influences. The design draws inspiration from Ricardo Bofill's La Muralla Roja, a Spanish apartment complex celebrated for its vibrant colours and geometric forms, itself influenced by traditional North African casbahs. 

By capturing this architectural interplay I highlight the cyclical nature of design, where contemporary structures re-contextualise historical aesthetics. The waterpark's vivid colours and bold patterns bridge modern recreational spaces with North African heritage. 

I emphasise geometry, colour contrasts, and human presence, using angles that make the architecture appear almost abstract. Occasional human figures add scale, reinforcing the space’s surreal quality. This series explores how architectural designs transcend time, offering a fresh perspective on the fusion of past and present and reinterpreting the space as a utopian visual composition.
